In the "kde-user" mailing list, there is currently a thread about KOffice ( 
cf. http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?t=98597003200001&w=2&r=1 ).

The opinions written there are rather very bad for KOffice, so I think a 
few KOffice devellopers should write their points of view there. (

In particular, the writers of the MS Word and MS Excel filters should be 
alerted (or at least read the thread.)
