While you are certainly correct, that is not what we are discussing.  The 
discussion is whether:

 a) there is room for both an API review and a user interface discussion at 
the sprint, and
 b) if not, which of them is more important to discuss at the sprint.

Nobody has said that features and correctness are unimportant.  If I read Jos 
argument correctly, he means that good underlying API is important for 
correctness and I agree with that.  However, if they are more important to 
discuss in depth at the sprint than user interface that would mean that they 
are bad now and in great need of fast improvement.  I don't think that's the 
case, but I'm open for arguments.

Except that there are hardly any users of KOffice.  Naturally, the biggest 
reason for that is that KOffice 2.0 is not ready at all due to lack of 
features and indeed correctness, so we can't really draw any conclusions from 
that.

That is also true.  However, we won't discuss that because everybody is 
already agreeing. :-)  The only thing lacking here is manpower to write them.
