Even more interesting is, that after keeping on to ask how KSpread and KChart 
are connected I got pointed to koffice/interfaces/koChart.h and followed the 
route down to KSpread::BindingModel and ChartShape. That's exactly what we 
would need imho!
Guess that we spend so much time with this while there is already something 
working in trunk shows how large our codebase is :-/
