Hi,

As you know, Hans Bakker has implemented an experimental plugin for Krita to
rotate, zoom and pan with the 3dmouse (http://www.3dconnexion.com/). This
looks like cool stuff, and I can imagine that support in the rest of KOffice
would be pretty nice.

Hans made me ask 3dconnexion for devices for us to play with, in return for
support and some news. I got a very positive reply, and while I'm of course
not sure whether we'll get them, the impression I got was that a number of
devices would be made available. I wanted to propose the following:

* the 3d thingy is definitely useful for Karbon and Krita
* the 3d thingy offers all kinds of fun possibilities for presentations

So, let's ask for a device for each maintainer of these apps, and one extra,
for testing. Hans already knows how to compile KOffice, and he'll be working
on integration into KOffice.

More ideas?
