Do you mean that with this patch I can no longer have a prefix when I 
choose to use a 'bullet' or similar numbering?
Why?

KOffice 1.x supports and and it saves it in ODF just fine.  So I'm a bit 
surprised by your conclusion that ODF doesn't support it.  And even if 
ODF says so, why should we remove features because of that?

/me confused...
