hello brave and sturdy hackers of koffice.

is the goal to have kofficelibs under the LGPL? if so ...

a quick licensecheck run across koffice lib headers reveals:

flake/KoInputDevice.h: GPL (v2+)
kofficeui/tkaction.h: GPL (v2+)
kofficeui/tkcoloractions.h: GPL (v2+)
kofficeui/tkcombobox.h: GPL (v2+)
kofficeui/tktoolbarbutton.h: GPL (v2+)
kwmf/qwmf.h: GPL

kotext/KoComplexText.h: QPL QPL (part of Qt)
kotext/KoRichText.h: QPL QPL (part of Qt)

kformula/kformulalib.h: no copyright
kopainter/svgnamedcolors.h: no copyright
kotext/DateFormatWidget.h: no copyright
kotext/TimeFormatWidget.h: no copyright
kwmf/kowmfstruct.h: no copyright
kwmf/metafuncs.h: no copyright
kwmf/wmfstruct.h: no copyright

KoInputDevice was added this year; perhaps a licensing accident?
the tk* ones are from TheKompany via kivio. 
the Qt QPL files could be problematic?
the rest that are missing copyright really need to have one.
kwmf/qwmf.h is problematic. perhaps we could contact Stefan Taferner and 
thierry lorthiois to see if they'd be cool with LGPL instead?

this would make the koffice libs lgpl clean.

and koffice apps? kivio, krita, the kfile plugins, the filters are all 
predominantly GPLv2. the rest is most LGPL with the following "problem" 
files:

KWord
----------
kword/KWFormulaFrameSet.* by Ulrich Kuettler is GPL

KSpread
------------
RTree.h by Stefan Nikolaus is GPL

KPresenter
----------------
KPrPrinterDlg by Fredrik Edemar is GPL
KPrShadowDialogImpl and KPrTextPreview lack copyrights

Krita
------
nearly 100% GPL

KChart
---------
kchartPrinterDlg.* by Fredrik Edemar is GPL

Kugar
--------
part/kugar_about.h by Joseph Wenninger is GPL
many files, such as lib/mcalcobject.h just say (C) 1999 by Mutiny Bay Software 
without any open source license. very concerning.

Karbon
---------
widgets/vruler.* by TheKompany is GPL
karbon_grid_data.* by TheKompany is GPL


what, if anything, would you like done with them? should the above become 
LGPL'd, either by author consent or by rewrite?
