Ah, yeah.  Don't know if that's a bug per se, but it's definately due to a 
macro definition in sys/sysmacros.h.

You can get the patch with:

svn diff -r 581163:581164  
svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/koffice/1.6/koffice/kexi

I think there're a few --enable-final bugs in the beta, I'm not sure they're 
all fixed yet, so as per Cyrille, I'd suggest just not using --enable-final 
for now.
