Sorry; this patch seems to have fallen through the cracks, thanks for the 
ping I committed it now!

Both KoText maintainers were (are ;) kind of AFK for quite a while :-/

I don't have time to delve into the code at all before the 1.5 release 
(and after that this code will most likely be recycled to /dev/null)
