It's good choice but explaining a reason (with *bold* letters) for 'using 
KDEDIRS instead of overwritting installation', (or add a link to such 
explanation) will help. OK with this?

Now on the page, we've got only:

  `Type configure --help if you want to use configure options.'

What if user typically answers: "no, I just want to perform default 
compilation" and KDE won't work for her/him?
