Sure.  But more than that.

Even if 'Tabs-replace-menubar' isn't be the best thing since sliced bread, 
they're also doing well to let the hype revolve around those UI changes.
They have that brilliant 'bike-shed' quality - everyone can and will have an 
opinion on them, and be talking about them. It's certainly getting mindshare.

Acutally, IMO some of the new features (like automatic diagramming, and 
'clever' document styles) are much more interesting.

By the way, since it turns out that KOffice *is* based on the StarOffice 
code-base after all [1], we can start re-using their MS Office filters, 
right? :o)
