Even though it may not directly affect the format used by KOffice, it may 
still be a point to be concerned about. I think the OASIS document standard 
is one of the most positive developments for KOffice and FOSS in general and 
it would be a shame if we weren't able to use similar standards in other 
areas because of a posoining threat by patents.
