Thanks, yes. I agree doing it as a KPart::Plugin is better. I skimmed 
through the API docs (never written a plugin so far) and I wonder how 
can I insert the data into the sheet then - either KSpread needs to 
be aware of the plugin's produced data or the plugin needs to access 
the sheet (or document) somehow. I'm sure I'm missing something here, 
maybe you (or anyone) can give me a hint.
