Hi,

I looked inside a Karbon XML file which has text objects in it, and it seems
they're represented like shapes:

  <TEXT shadow="0" alignment="1" size="12" family="Arial" bold="1"
position="1" shadowangle="315" translucentshadow="1" text="Hello World"
shadowdist="4" italic="1" >
   <STROKE>
    <COLOR v2="0" v3="0" v1="0" />
   </STROKE>
   <FILL/>
   <PATH fillRule="1" d="M269.678 477.729L266.35 477.729L265.553
473.885L263.772 473.885L265.585 482.479L267.335 482.479L266.647
479.166L269.975 479.166L270.663 482.479L272.428 482.479L270.647
473.885L268.866 473.885L269.678 477.729" >
    <STROKE>
     <COLOR v2="0" v3="0" v1="0" />
    </STROKE>
    <FILL/>
   </PATH>
   <PATH fillRule="1" d="M278.475 476.479L274.256 476.479C274.241 476.369
274.241 476.323 274.241 476.323C274.241 475.698 274.6 475.323 274.6
475.323C274.96 474.948 275.46 474.948 275.46 474.948C276.303 474.948 276.772
475.807 276.772 475.807L278.272 475.557C277.835 474.651 277.1 474.198 277.1
474.198C276.366
...
...
...
(many more PATHs)

I guess each of these PATHs describes a character, or a part of it maybe.

Is there any simpler way to describe text objects in Karbon XML files?

If there isn't, does anyone have an idea how I could generate these PATHs
myself, given a text string?

(I need this for the MSOD->Karbon import filter.)

Thanks a lot.
