Idea; let a layer be either a bitmap or a vector layer. Its always possible to 
'downsample' a vector layer to a bitmap layer.
If you look at how firework handles vector its just amazing how easy it is to 
work with.

Additionally this approach allows an extra layer type 'font' which remembers 
the original text and font so editing is actual text editing and not 
bitmap/vector.
