No I don't think. LukᨠTinkl and all KOffice developers are working hard to 
have a good release. If they know there are bugs into KOffice
program, why they have to release KOffice 1.3? So then people send million of
email for bugs that they know or to let people will not use KOffice any more? 
Let do this things to other people!
Big projects are complex to manage. There are a lot of lines of code and the
bug can be in any lines. I think KOffice need good programmers and volunteers
that help them and not people that shoot on them. I don't think someone pay
them so if they program for KOffice they like it. Why destoy this project
with your talks?

I think they talked before David Faure leaves KOffice like leadership and
LukᨠTinkl coordinate the releases and the project. They decided together
all other KOffice developers.
