Now that I understand your point (sorry that I missed it before),
I agree with you.

The old hicolor icons had been renamed cr* so that they would be found,
by default, I think. So Ben should have renamed back to hi* before adding
the new cr* icons (in particular for the application icons, although I guess 
this applies to the rest too). Who volunteers to clean this up?
