These are not for function names, although they're the same strings. 
It's for Subtotal Dialog, see menu Data, Subtotals. There are other 
types of subtotal, like "Average" which would be nice to translate. I do 
agree that something "StDev" or "StDevP" might be better to be left as 
it is, though.
AFAICS this only affects user-visible string in the dialog and has 
nothing to do with formula operation. So, no need to fix it.
