- - Pressing close does not allow me to open a new file (only shows templates)
- - Pressing quit (when the dialog first opens) makes kword hang.
- - Selecting 'Always start KWord...' only selects the icon in the open dialog,
contrairy to what the text would let you believe.
- - Recent tab does not show file location.
- - Going to 'open existing' and typing a non-existent filename and pressing
enter makes the dialog 'bug' (it even shows the non-opened file in recent)
- - The whole concept of 1 OK button beneath 3 tabs is wrong (as I stated in
other emails before).
- - create new doc based on the text oriented/A4, then restart kword and go to
envelopes and click on a template. Then go to Text Oriented and see that A4
is selected; but the 'selected template' groupbox still shows the envelop
template. Now; which is opened when I press OK?

Ok, I'll stop here...
But this kind of details are something that I like to think about ahead of
time; hence my argument for a review via the mailing list. (plus the
seemingly annoying details Aaron and me got into :-)

Hope this clears up my intentions and the idea why a usability list exists in
the first place.

This can be interpreted as a snide remark pointing out that the person who
writes it gets to make the decisions, even if KWord does not get better due
to that. I know you long enough to know that your point means more like 'I
don't have time to do it; lets see it when you have something to show for it'

We both want the best for KOffice (and KWord), and IMOHO if that means to
disapoint someone over his feature request or even his work; then so be it,
I'd rather have a little more arguing then a lot of unfinished features.
