I think this only makes sense for file types that are supported "well enough".
Arguably the MSWord import support in KOffice-1.2.1 isn't really good enough
to warrant this. However it sounds like a good thing to do in KOffice-1.3, when
the new MSWord import filter based on wv2 is ready.
It also makes sense only for filetypes that are not better handled by another
app - for instance, KWord can import HTML, but clicking on an .html file
should really not bring up KWord ;)
