Summary: Cannot compile, autoconf must be run and admin/am_edit
                    not called
           Product: koffice
           Version: 1.2.1
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Solaris
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: koffice-devel@kde.org
        ReportedBy: aaronw@net.com

Version: 1.2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 2.95.3 sparc solaris 2.7
OS: Solaris

There is a problem with configure when compiling on Solaris 2.7.

First of all, I need to run aclocal and autoconf before I can run configure. This is \
not necessary for KDE 2.x or 3.x. Additionally, none of the .moc or .ui files are \
handled because admin/am_edit is never called. If I manually run "perl \
admin/am_edit" after running configure then everything compiles fine.

I have had this problem with various versions of autoconf, automake and aclocal. I \
am currently using automake 1.6 and autoconf 2.57 and aclocal 1.6.3.

This has been a problem for koffice 1.1.x and 1.2.0 and 1.2.1.
