Well, one might want to try QPrinter::resolution().
Note the "assumed" in the docu, and the fact that PrinterResolution is hardcoded 
to 72 on Unix... :}
Well, maybe KPrinter does is a bit better (would be worth talking to Michael).

But anyway, I think it's more important to get the "print at 600 DPI" code
to work, than to be able to print on >600 DPI printers. (We need the apps
to be able to "zoom" the contents to the proper resolution, in both cases,
that's where most of the work is).
