Only check out what you need (plus lib/ and servicetypes/),
Makefile.cvs is clever enough to find out what's there and what isn't.

(You might have to hack Makefile.am.in to remove filters/ if you don't want it.)

The other possibility is setting DO_NOT_COMPILE, but this still means
checking out everything.
