I didn't write this, it's from Reggie's initial implementation.

Hmm, compared to something that's already implemented,
the last argument doesn't hold :)

Sounds like the only way to go, though.

Note that with QPixmap we don't have to do that (we simply save it
back in the original format we had), and by symmetry, that's why
it was done the same way for cliparts.
