Well, I'm just about to "upgrade" (ahem) to RH7.1, but this means that kchart 
effectively isn't usable on RH6.2, and I would guess there will be a fair 
number of people sticking with it until gcc and 2.4 settle down. Maybe the 
packagers can sort it out :)
