Are templates logical to use for KSpread ?
My first reaction was that new should open a dialog because there you
have to select which template the new document will appear in. Which
is consistent with the whole of KOffice.

But in KSpread this is not the case, so I am wondering why we don't have
templates for KSpread.

Otherwise, I think Werner's suggestion is the best solve.
