BUT... filters are part of KOffice normally and should be distributed as such.

In KWord's "Open" and "Save as" dialog boxes, does the "file type" combo box have \
only KWord as choice?

If the RPM you have has only KWord and not the complete KOffice, then there may be \
another RPM where you have found the first.

What is your distribution?

Hi,

	I've just installed KOffice on KDE2.1, in an effort to replace my 
MS-Windows desktop at work. Part of this requires me to be able to access 
MS-Word documents. I've visited the KDE site and seen the stuff about 
filters, but there are no filters loaded with the KWord RPM I downloaded. I 
looked at the FAQ, but can't see a section on "How do I get the filters". Can 
someone point me in the right direction please ?
