   That's the problem.  There are none.  Just regular typing in a brand new, 
never saved document.  Very often it happens after selecting text, but not 
always.  Just typing plain characters in a flat, plain file, default margins 
and indents.  I was wondering if anyone has caught some bugs along these 
lines.  If so I might try rebuilding koffice on my laptop.  However I don't 
want to risk breaking my word processor more before school is done for the 
term. :)
