I have downloaded the binaries from Chris' site and got them to
work 'sort of' using David Faures' script. However I now realise
that my problems are caused by QT, an old version, that I am
pointing at rather than the qt-copy I downloaded. Just getting too
old for my own good. It going to be simple but as the qt-copy is
in /usr/src/qt-copy, to use the twin kde script is all I need to
do to get it going properly:- CHANGE

#!/bin/sh (for kde1)
export QTDIR=/mnt/develop/kde/qt/qt  (i'm lost here)
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$KDEDIR/lib:$QTDIR/lib (here too)
But the on reflection this is supposed to be for the kde I am running
now
so maybe it does not need altering.

#!/bin/sh (for kde2)
export QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt-2.1.0  to export QTDIR=/usr/src/qt-copy

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$KDEDIR/lib:$QTDIR/lib Now this I have no idea
or do I alter it ?

Seeing that qt-copy is differently named and in a differing location
what do I need to edit, if anyone answers, they usually do> Please be
very
explicit on what I need to do. I have not as yet experienced koffice and
this is my primary reason for this excersize, and the last thing I
really
need in Caldera to be complete. Apart from using a parallel scanner that
is.

Many thanks
