Hello,

BBC recently conducted an interview with Gnome "coordinator" Miguel de
Icaza, and he had some things to say about KDE, although not very
favorable. The article mentions that Gnome has a fully fledged office
suite, which of course should make it appealing to general audience. I
wonder why they forgot to mention that KDE also has a functional office
suite, and a host of other applications. One point I'm interested in:
I was under impression that Qt is also available for Win32 and other
non-UNIX platforms (?), but the article makes it look like Qt is a
UNIX-only product.

The link to the article originally appeared on SlashDot, along with an
interesting remark.
