Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)

Date as a constant "variable" (e.g. when you put a date at the end of a document or \
in a table) could be entered/changed in such a way that it would pop up a small \
calendar widget/applet from which the user could select the date.

Similar usage can be seen e.g. in KMyMoney2 and many other KDE programs (only \
obvliously not for writing ODF files).

Just an idea.
