Hi,

since koffice 1.4 mail merge stopped working for me (see 
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115249) and I wonder, what 
the current state of mail merge is. As stated in the bug report, 
connecting to ODBC databases works and queries were executed just 
fine, only the data won't show up in the merge fields. Importing 
data in kspread also works fine. My question now is: Is mail 
merge broken or has something in the configuration changed? Could 
a be a package problem (Slackware 10.2), e.g. a build option?

KOffice 1.5 looks and feels really great, much lighter than 
OpenOffice, but mail merge is a feature, I dearly miss.
