As stated in the bug report,=20 connecting to ODBC databases works and queries were executed just=20 fine, only the data won't show up in the merge fields. Importing=20 data in kspread also works fine. My question now is: Is mail=20 merge broken or has something in the configuration changed? Could=20 a be a package problem (Slackware 10.2), e.g. a build option? KOffice 1.5 looks and feels really great, much lighter than=20 OpenOffice, but mail merge is a feature, I dearly miss.
