Unfortunately not, the development of Applix filter stalled since long 
time ago. Although the file format is easy to understand, it is not 
documented and add to the fact that one needs Applix itself to work
on the filter, not many people can help with it.

The best way would be if you assemble small development team and 
improve the filter. But of course that depends on your situation right now.
