Ideally both Ctrl + and also Ctlr = would be bound to Zoom in.  

On many keyboards + and equals are on the same key and + is obtained by pressing \
shift =  this makes Ctrl + very cumbersome

For whatever reason users will simply hit the key with the + on it and make the a \
small mental leap and not even think about needing to shift.  If you can make sure \
both work it would be another small usability win, done so well that users will never \
even notice. ____________________________________
