There were a *lot* of painting (drawing on the screen) and printing
problems in the 1.3 series of KSpread. I fixed some of them in the
1.4beta version, but I didn't have time for them all. During the last
month, I have concentrated on exactly these problems, and as late as
yesterday I fixed the last one.

That's strange. The bugs were general printing bugs. They should show up
regardless when and how the spreadsheet was created.

No, they were general bugs.

Wait for the final version of 1.4. It will be out very soon. The packaging
of the release candidate will commence this coming monday.

KWord has also had a lot of fixing so it would be expected that things
works better. However, 1.4 is not the all-encompassing OASIS version of
KOffice that was planned a year ago. 2.0 will be that. So in 1.4 there
are still things not working when using OASIS in KWord (unless David Faure
has managed to squash all these bugs during the beta period) and in the
other components there are much less OASIS support than that.

That said, version 1.4 will be much better, feature wise *and* bug wise
than 1.3.5 was.
