I'm not sure if the problem is mine or yours, but the last few releases 
of koffice have been pretty unusable with anything other than native 
formats, and I've only recently had time to start digging into it.

To get koffice to build on OSX I have to change a bunch of stuff that 
was a libtool -module to be a shared library/module pair, since there's 
a number of places where libtool modules are later linked against as 
shared library code (which is not legal on OSX).

I have no idea if this affects the issues I'm having, but I thought I 
would at least give some context.  =)

Anyways, when I try to load word documents or excel spreadsheets in 
kword and kspread respectively, I get a crash log like this:

It always seems to be something related to invokeHandler and typeinfo 
for QPtrList.

Any ideas where I should start looking to debug this?
