Sorry for being a bit ignorant, but which version is shipped with SuSE 8.1?
I searched shortly on the SuSE homepage, but it doesn't give me the hint.

If you have 1.2 installed, please update to 1.2.1, as 1.2 has a very nasty bug 
which lead to easy to repeat crashes.
