Also Some users such as my wife find the Custom page size to be confusing and
annoying.

I was actually wondering if more paper sizes could be added into kword using a
mimetype sort of interface. Maybe even using the Custom page size interface.
For convenience of the user.

I dont know - it was just a thought.

I also use these templates for convenience - you may want to include them in the
distribution.
