Interesting - what's wrong with embedding a small drawing object (e.g. karbon in koffice)?

I know that MSWord can insert lines/rectangles/etc. directly into the text,
but this never worked as I wanted (drawings moved in random directions
when the text moves down, due to some more paragraphs being inserted
above it). So I always preferred to insert an object (even if only a "msword object",
but so that all the small pieces of drawing are bundled together into one object).
This is pretty much what an embedded karbon in kword can do, so I'm surprised
by this "wish".
