Thanks. I'd like to take this opportunity to shamelessly plug the current wv2 
filter. I also supports headers/footers and footnotes now (and a few more 
bugs have been ironed out).

Please test the filter (you need a current wv2 CVS, please check the 
instructions in koffice/filters/kword/msword/README) and report any failures 
to bugs.kde.org (product kword, component filters).

We plan to add support for fields (like automatic date insertion,...) next, 
and then we'd like to have a look at table support.
