| Yes, of course, that's why we state it preliminary zooming support.

ok :-)

| The reason for that is that we haven't implemented a real zoom, we only
| scale the screen. But when we scale the screen, then truetype is
| deactivated by QT. So I assume you will get better results with Type1
| fonts, but for TT fonts it's not possible.

Indeed, results are better with PS Type1 font, but still everything looks
strange...

| The full zooming support is planed for KOffice 1.3, when we will switch to
| koText (the technic KPresenter and KWord is using).

Any chance to have it in KOffice 1.2?
In current state, KSpread's printing is unusable, so without fix for it it's
better not to release KSpread at all!..

| Hmmm, don't know what you mean exactly. But currently we render everything
| with 72dpi. I have a (not complete) fix locally, which then renders

ok, now I see the reason. Indeed, rendering was at screen resolution.

| everything with 1440dpi (see koffice-devel@kde.org).
| Can this be the behaviour you describe?

Yes!

|
| Yes works for me, but I noticed a bug in the definition of the orientation
| (or I can remember to not implement one special case).

I will send you test document off-list.

| If you change orientation and then go to printout, it doesn't work. After
| save and load it should be correct (as one possible turnaround), but I
| haven't investigated much yet.
| I will fix this soon.

| I'm subscribed here too ;-)

ok!
|
| Thanks for your help,
