The MS Word filter for KWord is at the directory: 
koffice/filters/olefilters/winword97

Perhaps, you should contact Shaheed <srhaque@iee.org> (I do not think that he 
reads this mailing list.)

He is the person knowing what happens in and around KWord's MS Word filter.
