While I would really love to see process colors in Krita, GIMP and all over 
the free programs it seems there has been a workaround for a long time 
which strangely nobody seems to notice: Corel PhotoPaint (free as in beer 
only, not as in speech from http://linux.corel.com/download/).

Personally, I only know the Windows version (and may be missing something, 
therefore). But based on that it seems that it does everything what 95% of 
current PhotoShop users need, including all sorts of color models.
