There was some talk a while back about implementing a version control scheme 
(via the CVS program) into several KDE apps. This could be a big step 
towards such a function (which is implemented in about every bigger word 
proccessor I know of and also in FrameMaker). But I don't know whether 
anything came of these discussions or if KWord was among the programs that 
were discussed about.

Surely would be an extremely useful feature, esp. for team workers.
