Your message with subj: working area does not center

The reason for that behavior is, that it avoids flickering of the content
while you resize the window. In CVS KWord you can easily set the zoom factor
in a way that the page fills the whole window and you won't see any grey
border.

has caused the attached bug report to be marked as done.

From: vader@speakeasy.org

Package: koffice
Version: unknown (using KDE 2.2.0 \6alpha2)
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-81)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.2-SGI_XFS_1.0
OS/Compiler notes:

Hello,

This is an issue with kword, kpresenter, and maybe killustrator(i can't get the cvs \
of killustrator to load, so I'm not sure). Anyway, I believe that when the window is \
maximized, the work area should centre itself on the screen. I feel this just looks \
much nicer than having that large grey area off to the right.

Jesse
