Hi all

I would be interested in adding automatic encryption of attachments, as it is
currently done for only the body.

After looking over the kmail sources I have to admit: I have no idea on where
to start :-)

So my questions:
- - is somebody already working on this and wants company ?
- - is there any reason *not* to implement this (e.g. hideously complex) ?
- - can somebody give me a short rundown (just 2-3 sentences) on how an
outbound message traverses KMail, starting at the composer ? (including being
encrypted)

I would also be willing to write up my experiences for the design
documentation that popped up a short time ago.

Background info on myself:
- - studying CS (currently in 5th of 10 semesters)
- - programming experience in C,C++
- - last QT/KDE programming around the days of QT2.0
- - since then: mostly (net-)admin stuff

Thanks for Your kind answers,
Florian
