I just recalled that I have an unused pop3 account that I could use for 
testing. I don't see this behaviour.

Current CVS (well, a day or so old), standard options:
Don't store password in config.

Lionello: Can you check with the upcoming beta1 release? It may well be 
that this is bug is already fixed.
