Unfortunately not that much.
Would it be possible, that you compile at least kdelibs/kio, 
kdebase/kioslave/pop3 and /kdenetwork/kmail with debug information?
You can do that by specifying --enable-debug to the configure script. "make 
clean" in the above mentioned directories is required, of course.
