Yesterday I had two new messages in the inbox. I read the first one and 
deleted it afterwards. Then the second message became the current one 
and I read it also. Then I realized that the new message counter still 
showed (1). I looked for it in the folder and then saw that the message 
which I had just read and which was still selected was marked as new.
I just tried to reproduce it but I had no luck.
