This patch applied perfectly here and works! I like!!! (Even if I am in US 
and use US date format).

I am seeing one strange thing with it though. If you have selected the last 
message of the folder and open the folder the date does not seem to convert. 
Also, some of the new messages, when filtered do not seem to display the new 
date format.

Is there any info that I can send you to help you track this down?
